For 145 years, the Grosvenor Building has lived quietly on 385 Broadway in New York City, in a vibrant commercial neighborhood of New York City, just below Canal Street at the intersection of SoHo, TriBeCa and Chinatown.
Today, the building will serve as Highcourt’s flagship Leisure Club. Programming spans across five floors and rooftop, featuring beautifully designed wide open spaces for comfortable, spontaneous connections.
Highcourt Leisure Club is created for a new generation of members seeking inspiration, movement and connection. A creative-run institution with a curated assortment of programming across interests. A blend of learning, socializing and self-improvement.
Welcoming by design, the gallery’s double-height ceilings are flooded with sunlight and anchored by a sculptured staircase leading our members up to a mezzanine-level concierge. Our fully equipped and adaptable ground floor gallery and atrium will make Highcourt a neighborhood staple.
We are introducing hothouse culture into the well-being equation. With natural light pouring in from Broadway, our locker rooms and unisex hothouse are a refuge from the bustle of the city far below. Our signature hothouse features a self-guided spa, steam room, hammam and sauna – offering crucial opportunity for self-care and relaxation with friends in a safe and highly regulated environment.
Working out is more than a means to an end. Our training studios reimagine physical culture through self-guided spaces, personal fitness sessions and two group classrooms, all with the intention of imbuing a sense of grace, confidence and play in the experience of working out. This is a new direction for sporting clubs.
Large, open working space. We believe every floor in the Club should be safe, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Our project space and café are no exception. Designed for you to spread out in a city known for quick-turn table service and tiny apartments, flow seamlessly from work to life and back again in a large, open work space to lounge, host a guest, or pursue personal projects and interests in between events.
We believe a smart choice in the morning justifies an indulgent one at night. Our restaurant and lounge features good, thoughtful food with zero-waste cocktails. With an all-day and all-night menu spearheaded by our partners – the team behind The Fat Radish and The Orchard Townhouse – food and drink are treated as an experience and entertainment, with menus that complement our physical culture philosophy.
The ultimate New York leisure dream: a private rooftop deck with a view to take a call, get some sun or hang with friends. Strategic design allows us to expand multiple programming paths to our rooftop level, from classes and personal training to speaker series and private events.
